About Us
Salalah, known to many as the 'Land of Frankincense', is a holistic cultural and tourism destination in its own right. Salalah International Airport is the Sultanate of Oman's second largest international airport and is located on the Salalah coastal plain in the Dhofar Governorate, 5.5 kilometres northeast of Salalah's city centre. The airport features flights to regional destinations as well as a few intercontinental charter services from Europe.
Arrivals Immigration counters:
Visa on arrival: Certain nationalities are eligible to obtain a visa on arrival.
- Counters for GCC Nationals: Separate immigration counters - numbers 1 to 4 - are available exclusively for residents from the Gulf Cooperation Council.
Check-in counters: there are a total of 24 check-in counters.
Parking: The airport facilitates parking for 1,900 vehicles at the passenger Terminal excluding employee parking and 370 vehicles at the cargo terminal.
Airlines : As many as six major airlines plus chartered flights operate regularly from the airport terminal. The airlines that operate from the airport are: Oman Air, Qatar Airways, Air India Express, Fly Dubai, Air Arabia, and Salam Air.
Oman Air and Salam Air ticketing counters are available at the airport.
